Nicole and Brent

Last week I took 7 photographers out to the City Quay for an on-location shoot with 2 local models, Nicole and Brent, to teach them about lightening and shooting on-location away from a studio using portable/remote flash. Thanks also to Charlene, the day's make-up artist, who did a great job.

We shot indoors firstly as the weather was questionable then headed outdoors before returning back inside to warm up and finish up for the day.

These are just 2 of the images I managed to shoot on the day, in between the others trying their hand at a variety of setups and from the feedback, they all had a fantastic time and learned a lot from the day - especially about how lightening is so important!

I hope to finish the behind-the-scenes footage in the coming days and will post that as soon as it is ready so that you can see how the images were shot.
