The McManus, Dundee Exhibit
The McManus have featured my bank notes in a new exhibit on Dundee and local contributions.
When I found out this was happening, it was a bit of a shock! I mean how often do you get a call to say you are going to be featured in the Museum that you went to as a kid and that you take your own children to during the holidays? Then fast forward to last Friday and the exhibit was unveiled with so many lovely features including Ellie Diamond’s costume and items from other local creatives such as Whimsical Lush to name but a few.
I didn't get a chance to make it when it was unveiled last Friday but went down today and to say I am extremely proud would be an understatement... There is nothing prouder than when your home town recognises the hard work, sheer grit and determination that one puts in to their work, especially creative work.
If you have never been to The McManus then please make sure to add it to your stop the next time you visit Dundee, there is so much history in such an amazing building.
